VPL/ Victoria Bartlett F/W 2012

I apologize in advance that there are not many pictures to accompany this post, but it was hectic, super hectic backstage...and the lighting wasn't the best. When things got into the thick and heavy down to the wire towards the end, there wasn't really any time to do anything but finish faces.

Lierac skincare performed facials on the models before makeup applications, Ellis Faas foundations and concealers were used to perfect the skin & a selection of OCC liptars were used to custom mix the eye color:  a turmeric yellow.  For the girls with darker complexions like Melodie & Marihenny, a custom mixed eggplant purple was used (sorry I couldn't snap a pic of that...) Romy Solemani designed the eye to be applied in a 'modern & graphic shape a slightly wing just past the crease so that it didn't read as too romantic. Ellis Faas E301 (a golden metallic) shadow pen was used on the inner corner and on the tops of the cheeks as a slight highlight. Another OCC liptar was used for a slight cheek contour. 8 hour cream was then applied on top of the girls lids right before they hit the runway to provide extra glisten.  OCC also designed a nail color that was the same color as the turmeric yellow eye seen here below:
