Jen Kao's show featured soft, drape-y, dreamy and ethereal silhouettes. With the exception of a few sprinkles of teal, the color palette for her clothes was alot of nudes, pale grays, cements and silvers. She describes it as: "feminine, but still very structural..." Lloyd Simmons' makeup complemented the direction of her collection perfectly: simple, pretty, and naturally luminous...
The makeup was a face with no color. The skin was the focus and was made dewy and softly luminescent with a cream highlighter. Lashes were lightly curled and coated in a light weight mascara. Myth lipstick by MAC was applied to the lips for the perfect nude mouth; Natural done at its best....

The 2 above pics were taken in hair. It never fails; at some point during shows, I must move to the hair stations and finish doing makeup there. It's usually when backstage gets down to the wire and they call 1st looks...See how yummy Yulia's skin looks??? Non makeup makeups are always the most challenging to pull off as it requires perfect technique amongst other things...
The wet slicked back hair provided an edge; the perfect juxtaposition to the soft makeup.
