പക്ഷേ മുറിക്കുള്ളിൽ കയറി കതകടച്ച മനുവിന്റെ മട്ടും ഭാവവും മാറി. വായിലെടുത്താൽ, യോനിയുടെ അത്ര മുറുക്കമില്ല എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് മനു വഴക്കു തുടങ്ങി.

പിന്നെ ഞാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാത്ത  ഉത്തരമാണു മനു തന്നത്. മനുവിന് എന്റെ പിൻ ഭാഗത്ത് സാധനം കയറ്റണമത്രേ !. ഇതൊക്കെ മനു എവിടെ നിന്നു കണ്ടു പഠിച്ചു എന്ന് എനിക്ക് അത്ഭുതം തോന്നി. എവിടെയോ വായിച്ചതോ കൂട്ടുകാർ പറഞ്ഞുകൊടുത്ത വിദ്യയോ ആയിരിക്കും.

അത് എന്തു വന്നാലും സാധ്യമല്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ കട്ടായം പിടിച്ചു. ഒന്നാമതേ, എനിക്ക് അരഭാഗത്ത് മൊത്തം വേദന മാറിയിട്ടില്ല. പിന്നെ അതൊരു വ്രത്തിയില്ലാത്ത എരിയ ആണ്. ഇതൊന്നുമല്ലെങ്കിൽ പോലും അത് വേദന ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന സംഭോഗ രീതിയാണ്. എത്ര സൂക്ഷിച്ചാലും ഉള്ളിൽ മുറിഞ്ഞ് രക്തം പൊടിക്കും.

പല രീതിയിലും ഞാൻ അനു നയിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചെങ്കിലും മനു പിടിച്ച പിടിയാലേ നിൽക്കുകയാണ്. എന്തു ചെയ്യും എന്ന് എത്ര ആലോചിച്ചിട്ടും എനിക്ക് ഒരെത്തും പിടിയും കിട്ടിയില്ല. ക്ഷമ കെട്ട് മനു ദേഷ്യപ്പെടാൻ തുടങ്ങി. ബലമായി എന്നെ പിടിക്കുമെന്ന് തോന്നിയപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ വേഗം മുറി വിട്ട് പുറത്തിറങ്ങി.

അപ്പോഴാണു കണ്ടത്; മമ്മി ഇതെല്ലാം കേട്ടുകൊണ്ട് വെളിയിൽ തന്നെ നിൽക്കുന്നു. അലക്കിയ തുണി മടക്കി എന്നെ ഏൽപ്പിക്കാൻ വന്ന വരവാണ്.
എനിക്കാണെങ്കിൽ നാണക്കേടും ദേഷ്യവും കൊണ്ട് എന്തു ചെയ്യണമെന്നറിയില്ലാതായി. പകച്ചു നിന്ന എന്നെ അടുത്തു വിളിച്ച് മമ്മി കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പോയി സോഫയിലിരുത്തി. കുറേ നേരം എന്തൊക്കെയോ ആലോചിച്ച ശേഷം, അല്പനേരം കൂടി കാത്തിരുന്നാൽ മനു ഉറങ്ങില്ലേ എന്ന് മമ്മി എന്നോടു ചോദിച്ചു. മയങ്ങിയേക്കും, എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ചെന്ന് കട്ടിലിൽ കയറുന്നതോടെ ഉണരും എന്നു ഞാൻ മമ്മിയോട് മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു.

എന്തോ തീരുമാനിച്ചുറപ്പിച്ചതു പോലെ, മമ്മി എന്നോട് സോഫയിൽ തന്നെ ഇരിക്കാൻ പറഞ്ഞു. മമ്മി എന്തു ചെയ്യാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്ന് ഞാൻ ചോദിച്ചു.  മമ്മി പറഞ്ഞു ; ഇന്നു രാത്രി ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സഹായിക്കാം.

മമ്മി മുറിക്കകത്തു കയറി കതക് അകത്തു നിന്നു ചാരി. പിന്നെ നടന്നത് എന്താണെന്ന് എനിക്കൂഹിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയില്ല. ഞാൻ സോഫായിൽ മമ്മിയെ പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ച് ഇരുന്നു. അല്പ നേരം കഴിഞ്ഞു,  മമ്മിയെ കാണാഞ്ഞ്,  ഇരുന്ന ഇരുപ്പിൽ ഞാൻ മയങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

ഏതാണ്ട് അര മണിക്കൂർ കഴിഞ്ഞ് മമ്മി വന്ന് തട്ടി ഉണർത്തിയപ്പോഴാണ് ഞാൻ മയക്കത്തിൽ നിന്ന് എണീറ്റത്. മമ്മിയുടെ മുഖത്ത് നല്ല ദേഷ്യം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.  മോൾ പോയി ഒച്ച ഉണ്ടാക്കാതെ മനുവിന്റെ അടുത്ത് കിടന്നോളൂ എന്ന് മമ്മി എന്നോട് ആംഗ്യം കാണിച്ചു.  മനു ഉണർന്നാൽ എന്തു ചെയ്യും  ? എന്ന് ഞാൻ തിരിച്ച് ആംഗ്യം കൊണ്ട് മമ്മിയോട് ചോദിച്ചു. ഒന്നും സംഭവിക്കില്ല എന്ന് മാത്രം പറഞ്ഞ്,  മമ്മി സോഫായിൽ ചാരിയിരുന്ന് മയക്കം തുടങ്ങി. സൂക്ഷിച്ചു നോക്കിയപ്പോഴാണ് മമ്മിയുടെ കൈയിൽ ചുരുട്ടിക്കൂട്ടിയ നിലയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഷഡ്ഡി കണ്ടത്. അതിൽ നനവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു !

ഞാൻ അന്ധാളിച്ച് മമ്മിയെ വിളിച്ചുണർത്തി. എന്റെ നിർബന്ധം സഹിക്കാതെ,  മമ്മി നടന്നതൊക്കെ എന്നോട് വിശദീകരിച്ചു.

മമ്മി മുറിയിൽ ചെന്നപ്പോൾ മനു ചെറിയ മയക്കത്തിലായിരുന്നു. മമ്മി ഉടനെ ലൈറ്റ് കെടുത്തി കട്ടിലിൽ കയറിക്കിടന്നു. കട്ടിലിലെ അനക്കം കേട്ട് മനു പാതിമയക്കത്തിൽ ഉണർന്നു. ലൈറ്റ് കെടുത്തിയിരുന്നതു കൊണ്ട്, മമ്മി ഒച്ചയുണ്ടാക്കാതെ പ്രതിരോധിച്ചു നോക്കി, പക്ഷെ മനു മമ്മിയുടെ നൈറ്റി ഉയർത്തി ആസനം തടവാൻ ആരംഭിച്ചു. മമ്മി ബലമായി മനുവിന്റെ കൈ എടുത്തു മാറ്റി,  യോനിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചു. അവിടെ ലൂസല്ലേ എന്ന് മനു സംശയിച്ചെങ്കിലും അരബോധത്തിൽ മമ്മിയുടെ ഷഡ്ഡിക്കു മുകളിലൂടെ തിരുമ്മിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

പതിവു പോലെ തിരുമ്മിനു ശേഷം മനു 'ഭാര്യ'യെ കമഴ്ത്തിക്കിടത്തി അരക്കെട്ട് മുഴുവനും ഉമ്മ വയ്ക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. മമ്മി നല്ല വ്രത്തിയിൽ എപ്പോഴും ശരീരം സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു കൊണ്ട് മനുവിനു സംശയം തോന്നിയില്ല. പിന്നെ മനു മമ്മിയുടെ ഷഡ്ഡി ഊരി കട്ടിലിൽ ഇട്ടിട്ട് യോനിയിൽ ദളങ്ങളിൽ നക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. മമ്മിയാണെങ്കിൽ ശ്വാസം പിടിച്ച് കിടക്കുകയാണ്. അല്പം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ മനു എന്നത്തെയും പോലെ മമ്മിയുടെ ദളങ്ങൾ അകത്തി ക്ലിറ്റോറിസ് ചുണ്ടു കൊണ്ട് വലിച്ചെടുത്തു വാഴച്ചുണ്ടിൽ നിന്ന് തേൻ കുടിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ കുടിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.

അതും കഴിഞ്ഞ് മനു 'ഭാര്യ'യുടെ അരക്കെട്ട് കൈരണ്ടും കൊണ്ട് പൊക്കി. എന്തു ചെയ്യണമെന്നറിയാതെ മമ്മി അരക്കെട്ട് പൊക്കാൻ പാകത്തിൽ മുട്ടിനു ബലം കൊടുത്തു കിടന്നു. അരക്കെട്ട് ഉയർന്ന് കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ തനിയെ കൈ മുട്ട് ഉയർത്താറുള്ളതാണ്. അതു കാണാതെ വന്നപ്പോൾ മനു അല്പം അയഞ്ഞു. സോറി ഡിയർ, പിണക്കമൊക്കെ മാറ്റി ഒന്ന് കൈമുട്ടു കുത്തൂ പ്ലീസ്, നിന്റെ ദേഷ്യമൊക്കെ ഞാൻ ഇരുപതുമിനിറ്റു കൊണ്ട് മാറ്റിത്തരാം.
മമ്മിയുടെ ചങ്കിൽ ഇടിവാൾ മിന്നി; ഇരുപതു മിനിറ്റോ ?

ഇത്രടം വരെ ആക്കിയ സ്ഥിതിക്ക് ഇനി പിന്നോട്ട് പോകാൻ പറ്റില്ല എന്നുറച്ച് മമ്മി കൈമുട്ട് കുത്തി ആടിന്റെ പോസിൽ കട്ടിലിൽ നിന്നു. മനു മമ്മിയുടെ നൈറ്റി മുഴുവൻ പൊക്കി കഴുത്തിന്റെ അവിടെ എത്തിച്ച് ചുരുട്ടി വച്ചു. ബ്രായുടെ കപ്പുകളിൽ നിന്ന് മുഴുപ്പുള്ള മുലകൾ എടുത്ത് പുറത്തിട്ടു. മമ്മിയുടെ മുലത്തടങ്ങളിൽ തടവിക്കൊണ്ട് റേഡിയോയുടെ വോളിയം കൂട്ടുന്നതു പോലെ നിപ്പിളുകൾ തിരുമ്മി.

പിന്നെ സമയം കളയാതെ അപ്പോഴേക്കും ഉദ്ധരിച്ചു നിന്നിരുന്ന സാധനം മമ്മിയുടെ യോനീദളങ്ങളിൽ മുട്ടിച്ച് മുന്നോട്ട് തള്ളാനാരംഭിച്ചു. മമ്മിയാണെങ്കിൽ പപ്പായുമായി സെക്സ് ചെയ്തിട്ട് മാസങ്ങളായിക്കാണും. മനുവിന്റെ സാധനം പതിവിലധികം തടിച്ചതുമാണ്. ക്ലിറ്റോറിസ് വലിച്ചു കുടിച്ചതു കൊണ്ടുള്ള അല്പം വഴുവഴുപ്പാണ് ആകെയൊരു ലൂബ്രിക്കന്റ്. ഇതൊന്നും അറിയാത്ത മനു ആസക്തിയോടെ തള്ളു തുടർന്നു. മനുവിന്റെ അഗ്രം അല്പം അകത്തു കടന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ മമ്മിയുടെ കണ്ണു തള്ളിവന്നു. എന്നിട്ടും ഒന്നും പറയാനാവാത്ത സ്ഥിതിയിൽ മമ്മി ബലം പിടിച്ച് വായ് തുറക്കാതെ നിന്നുകൊടുത്തു. ലൂസാകേണ്ട യോനി ടൈറ്റായി തന്നെ ഇരിക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് മലദ്വാരത്തിലെങ്ങാനുമാണോ അറിയാതെ കയറിപ്പോയതെന്ന് ശങ്കിച്ച് മനു താഴേയ്ക്ക് നോക്കി സംശയനിവർത്തി വരുത്തി. ആഞ്ഞൊരു തള്ളിൽ സംഗതി മുഴുവൻ അകത്തു കയറി. മമ്മിയുടെ കണ്ണിലൂടെ വെള്ളം വന്നു.

പിന്നെ ഒരു ഇരുപതു മിനിറ്റു നേരത്തേയ്ക്ക് എണ്ണയിട്ട മെഷീൻ പോലെ മനു ഉദ്ദേശിച്ച കാര്യം നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. പകുതി കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ  മമ്മിക്കും വേദനയ്ക്കൊരു ആശ്വാസം പോലെ തോന്നിത്തുടങ്ങി. പിന്നെയും കുറേക്കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ മനു സാധനം പതിയെ ഊരിയെടുത്ത് സൈഡിലേക്ക് വന്ന് ‘ഭാര്യ’യുടെ മുഖത്തേയ്ക്ക് അടുപ്പിച്ചു. മമ്മിയുടെ ചങ്കിടിപ്പു കൂടി. വഴുവഴുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന സാധനം മമ്മിയുടെ ചുണ്ടിൽ മുട്ടിച്ചു. ഇരുട്ടായതിന്റെ ഒറ്റ ധൈര്യത്തിൽ ഒച്ച പുറത്തു വരാതെ മമ്മി വായ് തുറന്ന് മനുവിനെ മുഴുപ്പോടെ വായിൽ സ്വീകരിച്ചു. ലളിതമായ വദനസുരതത്തിനു ശേഷം മനു ഒരു മുന്നറിയിപ്പുമില്ലാതെ സാധനം പിൻവലിച്ച് തിരികെ മമ്മിയുടേ പിന്നിലേക്ക് പോയി.

ഇനി അധികം താമസമില്ലെന്ന് മമ്മിക്കും മനസ്സിലായി. ‘ഭാര്യ’യെ ഒരാഴ്ച കൂടി കിട്ടിയ സന്തോഷത്തിൽ മനു പിന്നെയുള്ള സമയം ആഞ്ഞ് ഉത്സാഹിച്ചു. അത്രയുമായപ്പോൾ മമ്മിക്കും ഒരു രസം പോലെ തോന്നി. ഭർത്താവിൽ നിന്ന് ഇതുപോലെ സുഖവും വേദനയും ഒന്നിച്ച് ഇതുവരെ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. മനു സ്പീഡ് കൂടുമ്പോൾ മമ്മിയും പിന്നിലേക്ക് ഒന്നുരണ്ടു തവണ തള്ളിക്കൊടുത്തു . അവസാനം ഒരു നീണ്ട മുരളലോടെ മനു രതി മൂർച്ഛയിലെത്തി മമ്മിയുടെ പുറത്തേക്ക് മറിഞ്ഞ് വീണു. അല്പ സമയത്തിനു ശേഷം ആ മൈരൻ മമ്മിയുടെ പുറത്തു നിന്ന് ഊർന്നിറങ്ങി കട്ടിലിൽ മറ്റേ വശത്തേയ്ക്ക് തിരിഞ്ഞ് ചുരുണ്ട് കിടന്നു. മമ്മി ആ നിന്ന നിൽപ്പിൽ തന്നെ നിന്ന് ശ്വാസം നേരേ വിട്ടു. കൈയെത്തിച്ച് ഷഡ്ഡി എടുത്ത് യോനിയുടെ അകവും പുറവും തുടച്ച് വ്രത്തിയാക്കി ഒച്ചയുണ്ടാക്കാതെ കതകു തുറന്ന് വെളിയിൽ ചാടി.

നടന്നതു മുഴുവൻ കേട്ട് ഞാൻ തരിച്ചു നില്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ട് മമ്മി പറഞ്ഞു.

സാരമില്ല മോളേ ആ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ പറ്റാവുന്നത് നമ്മൾ ചെയ്തു. ഇപ്പോൾ നിന്റെ മലദ്വരത്തിൽ ഇത്ര തടിച്ച സാധനം കയറ്റാൻ പറ്റിയ സമയമല്ല എന്ന്, അവനെ പറഞ്ഞ് മനസിലാക്കാൻ മാത്രം സമയം നിനക്ക് കിട്ടിയില്ല. ഇനി,  നാളെയും ഇതു സംഭവിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണം. . അവൻ മദ്യം കൈ കൊണ്ട് തൊടാതെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചാൽ മതി.

ഇതു പറഞ്ഞ് മമ്മി കഥ മതിയാക്കി മയങ്ങാൻ കണ്ണുകളടച്ചു. എന്തു സംഭവിച്ചാലും അപ്പപ്പോൾ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടില്ലാതെ കാര്യങ്ങൾ നടക്കണം എന്നൊരു ചിന്തയേ മമ്മിക്കുള്ളൂ.. എന്തു ചെയ്യാം ?

പക്ഷേ കാര്യങ്ങൾ അവിടം കൊണ്ട് തീർന്നു എന്നു കരുതിയ എനിക്ക് തെറ്റി.

മമ്മിയും പപ്പയും പിറ്റേന്നു തന്നെ ബർമിംഗ് ഹാമിലേയ്ക്ക് തിരിച്ചു പോയി. നമ്മൾ എന്തിനാണിത്ര ധിറുതിയിൽ തിരിച്ചു പോകുന്നത് എന്ന് പപ്പ മമ്മിയോട് പലവട്ടം ചോദിച്ചിട്ടും മമ്മി മമ്മി സത്യം പറഞ്ഞില്ല.

മനു പിന്നീട് മദ്യപിക്കാതെയിരിക്കാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നതിൽ ഞാൻ പൂർണ്ണമായും വിജയിച്ചു. എന്നും രാത്രിയിൽ മനു എന്നെ സമീപിക്കുന്നതിനു മുന്നേ തന്നെ മനുവിനെ അറ്റാക്ക് ചെയ്ത് കൈ പ്രയോഗം കൊണ്ടും വദന സുരതം കൊണ്ടും തുടകൾക്കിടയിൽ വയ്പ്പിച്ചും മനുവിനെ ഞാൻ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്തു കിടത്തിയുറക്കി.

അങ്ങനെ ഒരു മാസത്തോളം കഴിഞ്ഞ് മമ്മി എന്ന് ഫോണിൽ വിളിച്ചു. ഫോണിലൂടെ മമ്മി പറഞ്ഞത് കേട്ട് ഞാൻ ഞെട്ടി. !
ലിവർപൂളിൽ നിന്ന് തിരിച്ചുപോയതിനു ശേഷം, ഇതു വരെ മമ്മിക്ക് മാസമുറ വന്നിട്ടില്ല !!

വയസാം കാലത്ത് പപ്പ പണി പറ്റിച്ചല്ലോ എന്നാണ് എടുത്ത വായ്ക്ക് എനിക്ക് ചോദിക്കാൻ തോന്നിയത്. 'ഭ' എന്നൊരു ആട്ടായിരുന്നു,  ജീവിതം മുഴുവൻ ശാന്തയും പ്രൗഡഗംഭീരയുമായി ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള മമ്മിയുടെ മറുപറി. എനിക്ക് കാര്യം മനസിലായി. ഏതായാലും ഡോക്ടറെ കാണാൻ പപ്പയെ കൂട്ടി മമ്മി പോകണമെന്ന് ഞാൻ ഉപദേശിച്ചു.

അതു സാധ്യമല്ല എന്നു മനസിലാക്കിയ മമ്മി ഒരു ഫാർമസിയിൽ ചെന്ന് പ്രെഗ്നൻസി ടെസ്റ്റ് കിറ്റ് വാങ്ങി ബാത് റൂമിൽ കയറി അതിലെക്ക് മൂത്രം ഒഴിച്ചു. മിനിറ്റുകൾ കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ റിസൾട്ട് പൊസിറ്റീവ് ! മമ്മി വീണ്ടും ഗർഭിണിയായിരിക്കുന്നു. അതും എന്റെ ഭർത്താവ് മനുവിന്റെ ബീജം അകത്തു ചെന്നതുകൊണ്ട്.

പിന്നെ ഒരു നാലഞ്ചു മാസങ്ങളോളം മമ്മി എന്നോട് മിണ്ടിയില്ല. അങ്ങനിരിക്കെ ഒരു ദിവസം മമ്മി എന്നെ ഫോണിൽ വിളിച്ച് അല്പ നേരം സംസാരിച്ചു. എനിക്കും ആശ്വാസം പോലെ തോന്നി.

അതിന്റെ പിറ്റേന്ന് മമ്മി ഫോൺ വിളിച്ച് ഒത്തിരി സംസാരിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞ് മനുവിന്റെ വിവരങ്ങൾ അന്വേഷിച്ചു. താമസിയാതെ മമ്മി ഫോണിൽ മനുവിനെ വേണമന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് കുറേ നേരം മനുവിനോട് എന്തൊക്കെയോ കുശലാൻവേഷണം നടത്തി. പതിവില്ലാതെ മമ്മി സന്തോഷസല്ലാപം നടത്തിയിട്ടും ആ പൊട്ടന് പ്രത്യേകിച്ചൊരു സംശയവും തോന്നിയില്ല.

പിന്നെപ്പിന്നെ മമ്മി പതിവായി മനുവിനെ വിളിക്കുകയും പ്രത്യേകിച്ചൊരു സ്നേഹത്തോടെ മനുവിനോട് സല്ലപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പഞ്ചാരയൊക്കെ കൊള്ളാം എന്റെ ഭർത്താവിനെ തട്ടിയെടുക്കരുതെന്ന് ഞാൻ ഒരു താക്കീത് കൊടുത്തതോടെ മമ്മി ഒതുങ്ങി.

വയസാം കാലത്ത് തനിക്കാണ് അമളി പറ്റിയത് എന്ന ചമ്മലിൽ ആണ് പപ്പ ഇപ്പോൾ. ഏതായാലും മോളെയും മരുമകനെയും പേരക്കുട്ടിയെയും കാണാൻ അവർ രണ്ടും അടുത്ത ആഴ്ച ബർമിംഗ്ഹാമിലേയ്ക്ക് വരാനിരിക്കുന്നു.

എനിക്ക് എന്റെ ഭർത്താവ് കൈ വിട്ടു പോകരുതെന്ന് ആഗ്രഹമുണ്ടെങ്കിലും മനുവിന്റെ ആക്രാന്തത്തിൽ നിന്ന് കുറച്ചു ദിവസമെങ്കിലും ഒഴിവു കിട്ടുമെങ്കിൽ മമ്മി രഹസ്യമായി മനുവിനോട് ഒന്നുകൂടെ സംഗമിച്ചോട്ടെ എന്ന് ചിന്തയില്ലാതില്ല.

ഏതാനും നിമിഷം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള് അവള് എത്തി ചേര്ന്ന് ആക്രാന്തം മൂത്ത് കുണ്ണ എടുത്തു പെരുമാറുന്നു.. എന്ത്  പറ്റി  നിനക്കിതു.. ആദ്യ റൌണ്ടുകള് കഴിഞ്ഞു ബാത്രൂമില് പോയി വന്നപ്പോള് എല്ലാം വീണ്ടും തുടങ്ങുന്നുവോ? ആയിക്കോട്ടെ.. അതല്ലെട ചക്കരെ.. എത്ര നാളിനു ശേഷം എന്റ്റെ മുത്തിനെ  കിട്ടിയതാ,  എല്ലാം മറന്നു  പോയി...

അന്നാദ്യമായി തനിക്ക് ഈ ലോകത്ത് മാറ്റരോക്കെയോ  ഉണ്ടെന്നുള്ള വിശ്വാസം  ഉണ്ടായി. എല്ലാവരും ചെര്ന്നിരുണ്ണ് സന്തോഷത്തോടെ ആഹാരം   കഴിച്ചപ്പോള്  കണ്ണ്  നിറഞ്ഞു  പോയി. ആരും കാണാതിരിക്കുവാന് പണിപ്പെട്ടു. തനിക്കായി ഒഴിഞു തന്ന മുറിയില് കയറി കിടന്നു. തന്നിക്ക് കിട്ടിയ ഭാഗ്യം ഓര്ത്തോര്ത്തു ഉറക്കം വരാതെ തിരിഞ്ഞും മറിഞ്ഞും കിടന്നു. അപ്പുറത്ത് ചേട്ടനും ചേച്ചിയും കുട്ടികളും ജപമാല ചൊല്ലുന്നതും കേട്ട്  തന്റെ  സ്ഥിരം ശൈലിയില് ഉടുത്തിരുന്ന കൈലി വലിച്ചു തലവഴി പുതച്ചു മൂടി കിടന്നു  എപ്പോഴോ മയങ്ങി പോയി.
